Why do we should pay attention when guest refuse service? Yes we want to ensure the privacy of the guest is respected and assured all time and all associates understand how to handle if the guest refuse the service.
If guest would like to have service later, the room attendant should record time on work sheet and the room attendant is responsible to ensure the room is serviced at the requested time.
If guest does not want the room to be serviced, room attendant should offer if any additional amenities needed and change the towels.
If the requested time is after the room attendant shift, the information will be handed over to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Coordinator who are assigning the room to another room attendant and making sure that the room will be serviced at the requested time.

If service later is not required, than this is noted by the room attendant and reported to the assistant housekeeping manager or housekeeping coordinator, and another room or extra task will be assigned to the room attendant.
Rooms that require no service all day are recorded in the log book and are handed over to the next shift.
Refused service for more than 2 days will be contacted by the Director of Housekeeping and Manager on Duty.
Unless exceptional circumstances, all rooms are to be visited once per 24 hours even if not serviced. To ensure safety and security is maintained for all concerned.
